DPC, as a subscription-based healthcare model that does not accept insurance, which allows Dr. Corba more time and attention to her patients coupled with improved access and affordability. All pricing is 100% transparent so patients understand how they are spending their healthcare dollars. Patients may still use their insurance for testing, prescriptions at the pharmacy, and specialty care outside GHDFC. To be clear, Direct Primary Care is NOT a form of health insurance; we encourage all patients to have some form of health insurance coverage for care that is needed outside of primary care needs such as catastrophic or specialist care.

Our patient benefits include full access to healthcare via your Direct Primary Care physician, Dr. Corba. As a patient, you will have the following benefits with your monthly subscription-based periodic medical service fee:

• Extended visits with Dr. Corba (30-60 minutes, longer if needed)
• After-hours access to Dr. Corba via text, email, phone, video visits for acute/urgent medical issues
• Access to negotiated discount lab tests (can be drawn on-site or at an outpatient center)
• No-copays/co-insurance/deductibles for care provided in the office

•  Generic prescriptions dispensed from the office for near wholesale prices

Your periodic (monthly) medical service fee also covers the following healthcare services:

Annual wellness physical exams for all ages 

• Well women exams (GYN/PAP smears)
• Newborn and pediatric annual exams 
• Wellness education
• Chronic disease management
• Coordination of care with specialists, if needed
• Minor procedures like cryotherapy, suturing, simple removal of foreign body, I&D simple abscess, nebulizer treatments, joint injection, trigger point injection, etc.
• Access to incredible discounts on labs, generic medications and over-the-counter products too!

The added savings and convenience of an onsite wholesale dispensary is invaluable to our patients. These value-added services help patients to save money on generic prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. We draw lab test in our office for deeply discounted prices provided our relationship with LabCorp. All prices are transparent and discussed with the patients when requested and is outlined in our Patient Agreement.
