Direct Primary Care Defined
As a Direct Primary Care practice, Green Hills Direct Family Care focuses on you and your health without the unnecessary intrusion of insurance companies. Removing insurance from the patient-physician relationship is a core tenant of Direct Primary Care and why this model of medical care grows nationally. We believe that the best primary care medicine is both personal and affordable, and that’s what we offer. ATTENTIVE, ACCESSIBLE, and AFFORDABLE Primary Care is what we do, so let us restore your faith in health care. Based on trust and respect, this is the type of personalized Primary Care every patient deserves.
Small businesses also find DPC valuable to their employees, especially when coupled with an existing health insurance plan like self-funded plans and HDHPs.
DPC, as a subscription-based healthcare model that does not accept insurance, which allows Dr. Corba more time and attention to her patients coupled with improved access and affordability. All pricing is 100% transparent so patients understand how they are spending their healthcare dollars. Patients may still use their insurance for testing, prescriptions at the pharmacy, and specialty care outside GHDFC. To be clear, Direct Primary Care is NOT a form of health insurance; we encourage all patients to have some form of health insurance coverage for care that is needed outside of primary care needs such as catastrophic or specialist care.
